ASTONISH RELEASES "THE WHO TAPE" | MIXTAPE
Astonish has been a staple of the Chicago rap scene since 2008 when he broke through the clutter with his viral smash "Can You Hear Me". That video propelled him to performances around the nation and shows with Blu & Exile. Since then, Astonish has sparingly put out music. Every couple of years we'll see a resurfacing of the northside Chitown rapper but it's always a glimpse.
2015 has seen A drop a few gems to the masses (the stellar Born Readyproduced "Get Away" and "Stretched Out") and with the promise of not one but two projects. Today, we get the first full length of the year from Astonish,The Who Tape. This is promotional tape leading to his album drop To Whom It May Concern
Featuring production from Born Ready and Saba and verses from Pivot Gang's John Walt and Chicago mainstays Navarro and Lungz, The Who Tape sees a return to form after a two year hiatus from Astonish as he makes sure nobody will ask "Astonish who?" again.
